Better Care for a Patient and Substantial Savings
Shortly after a quadriplegic developed severe stage III and IV ulcers, our case manager became aware of infighting among the 24-hour caregivers and the weekly nursing service. As a result, proper care was not being provided. Contact was made with the treating physician and the patient was admitted to an acute wound care center. An initial discount for the hospitalization was negotiated which resulted in 22% savings. As the client's
condition improved, we were able to negotiate additional discounts that resulted in total savings of over $72,000.
Anticipated Surgery
A $22,000 medical custodial account was set up for the specific purpose of paying the medical treatment and surgical revisions of a scar. The surgery must be completed within a specified time period and any funds remaining revert to the payor.
Reversionary Interest
A $650,000 medical custodial account was established for a quadriplegic with an estimated life expectancy of 2-5 years. The agreement had language giving a 100% reversionary interest to the payor. Approximately two years later the beneficiary died. Over $325,000 was returned to the payor.
Periodic Payout Incentive for Staying Healthy
A medical custodial account was established with $50,000 initial funding plus monthly annuity payments of $4,000. The beneficiary was to receive a payout of 50% of the balance of the annuity payments remaining in the custodial fund at the end of each year. Last year the beneficiary received over $15,000 as a periodic payout.
What Our Clients Have to Say...

"For me, it is the cooperation you've provided, and the fact that you're flexible. It is also the ease of handling all my medical payments." M. K., Massachusetts"
'm very satisfied. You've always been so prompt to return my calls and responsive to my needs. I really value the personal contact. I don't feel like just another case; I feel you always have my best interests at heart." R. B., Virginia
"People with head injuries need to be protected from others who might take advantage of them. They have to know that their money is safe when people come to them with sob stories or false investment schemes. That way they can focus on their rehabilitative goals. This arrangement is excellent, especially for brain injured people and for those that don't have (the benefit of) family support." D.I. New Jersey
