The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Orlando is another charity that is near and dear to the hearts of the Medivest team. In April, Medivest employees and their families participated in “GREAT STRIDES: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis”, the annual 10K walk held in downtown Orlando. In addition to raising money for the walk, Medivest became a “Friend of the Foundation,” sponsoring two local children stricken with cystic fibrosis and their families.

Last year, employees showed off their athletic abilities at CFF’s annual “Sports Challenge”. A team of eight participated in events such as tug of war, obstacle course relay, basketball shoot, long jump and mile relay race to raise money for cystic fibrosis research.
